My new calling

I just got a new church calling.
I'm a Sunday school teacher for youth.

I used to work in the Primary for 4 years and in the Relief Society for 5 years.
But this is my first time to be a teacher!

I'm so excited to learn about the Gospel with youth members.
There are about 10 boys and girls in the class.
I've known them since they were little kids. Now they are growing up, actually most of them are taller than me!!
Not only thier hights but thier spirits are growing day by day as children of God which is great!

I will do my best for this new calling!

The early bird catches the worm!

I usually get up at 6:00 AM. Isn't it enough early to get the worm?
This morning I got up earlier, it was 5:30 AM. You think I got more worms? I did!

In my ward, YM and YW have Seminary early in the morning before they go to school.
I always thank their teachers to lead them to good way Heavenly Father want them to go.
They asked me to help them out to master the scriptures. They did a good job!!

I've never attended Seminary because I converted when I grew up.
So I really like to join them! I love to see young people are making an effort and making progress.

They surely get the worms!!

Live in the Present

There is no tomorrow to remember if we don't do something today,
and to live most fully today, we must do that which is of greatest impotance. Let us not procrastinate those things which matter most.

Sakura

It's time for beautiful cherry blossom ( Sakura) here in Japan! I love this time of the year.

As you know they perfectly match Himeji castle which we have pride at.

Of course we had a party under the Sakura tree; that's the traditional way for us to enjoy this beautiful season. Too many people bother me though...

Anyway enjoy the pics and remember this season in Japan!!

Karaoke

I went to Karaoke with my friends yesterday.

It's always good to sing out loud to release the stress we always have.

What's more they have a good discount service on weekdays.

It costs 10 yen for 30 min!! and 400yen for free refills.

We were singing for 2 hours!! but we only paid 500yen!! How cheap!!

My Friend's Wedding

I just got a wedding announcement from a friend of mine.

She served as a missionary here in Himeji in 2000.

She is so pretty and was called " Madonna of Kobe Mission"( I mean it!)

I don't know why it took her a long time to find " Mr. Right"

Anyway she is getting married on May 17 at Tokyo Temple. Congrats!

I'm just thinking of attending her wedding.

I haven't been to the temple for a long time so it would be a good chance

for me to go to the temple. Thanks!
